you didn't provide an option I'd be willing to vote for, so I moved to Canada. I would say that it's unconventional, but not awful. I think most guys would be more comfortable doing the proposing, because most often they're the ones who have qualms about being tied down, and it's really more up to the insecure male to decide when he's ready to commit. But yeah. ^^;

Randomness, kinda. One of my friends and I were debating the topic. My veiws are that the guy should propose, so...yeah. ^_^ It would be awkward to have to propose to a guy. It's just more traditional to have the guy do it.

Girls asking guys to marry them is WAY unconventional. It's one thing for a girl to ask a guy out, but quite another to propose...and I agree with Don on the whole male commitment thing.
When Michael told me he was engaged because his girlfriend did the proposing, I freaked out. But of course I didn't tell him that. ^_^
You better let Sean do the proposing if your relationship gets that far.
