I am not useless. I do plenty that proves of use- I have imagination, insight and a damn good sense of decorating style. I can provide help and advice where my strengths lie. I can't, however, do anything about the dishes on the counter when the dishwasher is full. Just because I don't have a high-paying job and can't miraculously make things spotless doesn't mean that I'm of no use.

I am not stupid. A person that creates art, goes to school and works a job is anything but stupid. I have creativity, a good sense of humor and know things that you don't, simply because I'm me. Just because you're a member of MENSA doesn't mean that you can call me stupid. My intelligence has nothing to do with the soda cans or the state of the kitchen.

I am not lazy. I work just as hard as you do at my job, and even harder around the house. I don't just sit on my butt and watch TV all day. Just because you don't see me working at it doesn't mean that it doesn't get done. The laundry doesn't clear off the table by itself, nor do the bowls remove themselves from the sink on their own.

I have more worth than the dog. At least that dog. I do more than fetch, eat and sleep all day. My intelligence is of a human level, and last I checked, I didn't pee in the yard or steal people's food when they're not looking.

If you want to throw me out, go right ahead. I'll give you a piece of my mind before I go. I'll take my usefulness, intelligence, determination with me. And if you think that Robby is going to stay after you've thrown me out, Tom, then you're sorely mistaken.

I'm almost sad that you don't read this.

Balder died at 3:15pm today due to complications from a massive gastro-intestinal infection. He was at the vet hen it happened; they were giving him fluids, it looked like he was doing a bit better and then he rather suddenly became non-responsive.

If I'm not online or particularly entertaining for a while, that's why.
