Okay...so last night at midnight (or rather, a few seconds after) I proposed to Meg. ^_^ And, surprisesurprise, she said YES. I'm SO freaking HAPPY. We're going to be having a ceremony sometime after June- so that we'll both be 18.
I have a feeling that there will be butterflies involved.
SO~! This means that-
A) I need to get a job.
B) Need to tell my grandparents sometime BEFORE the ceremony.
C) Move out of my mum's house (which will be happening when I'm 18 anyhow.)
AHHH I'M SO HAPPY. ^_^ Ne, and 'Lessy et Natasha got PICTURES of me proposing. And the happy aftermath. XD They're so cute- I'll be updating this with them later.
[EDIT] I've got pictures from it noooowwww~!

This would be one proposing Loki, and a very elated Meg.

Meg's answer...phase one. XD She, if you missed it, said yes. ^_^

XD I'm STRONG. <33333 Will carry her over threshold. And around supermarkets. An' through Alessy's living room. Andintheshower.

Note: I know perfectly well that Marriage is a 'sacred union between a man and a woman.' HOWEVER, regardless of what the government wants to say about it, a wedding is simply a ceremony between two people who want to be with, support each other and love each other for the extent of thier lives. Hence, I'm getting married. Having a wedding. <3
...hopefully having a bachelor party.

You don't know me, but this journal made me cry. You're so lucky to have someone to love and who loves you back and a supportive family. Some aren't so lucky......*sigh* but I can hope, huh? ^_^;;
Congrats to the both of you.

To tell the truth, my family isn't exactly supportive. Half of them would prefer if I ceased to exist rather than go about living the life that I deem right. I'm immensely lucky to have Meg in my life- she's everything to me.
And don't worry, you'll find someone, someday. It might just take a while to find that perfect person.
If you ever need to talk (even tho you don't exactly know me, either) just send me a note. I'd be happy to help.

Your mum does, indeed, sound rather homophobic. My grandparents told me that I was going to die in an alley and that my life would go nowhere when they found out. Later on, my grandmother told me that the Loki she'd known when I was growing up- the one she loved- was dead to her. And she told me that on christmas morning.
Hang in there! I know you can do it.
